Student privacy
Students are minors. Presentense stores no student names, emails or school IDs: identity is the DroneWorks sign-in (alias, year, A/B day) or, without sign-in, an anonymous id for this device. Free text that looks like an email, phone number or student ID is refused.
Projects and portfolios are private. Teachers can review student work; nothing is visible outside the class until a teacher approves a share link, which expires and can be revoked. Share viewers and audience displays never receive speaker notes.
Rehearsal never records or stores audio. Voice rehearsal is optional; your browser turns speech into text (Safari uses Apple's speech recognition; Chrome and Edge send audio to Google or Microsoft) and only the text is saved. Text rehearsal is always available and counts the same.
Optional Gemini coaching sends only slide text and the student's own words, with no identity, under zero data retention — it is not stored or used for training, and nothing is logged. Without opting in, nothing goes to any AI. Approvals, exports, shares, deletions and imports are written to an audit log.
Demonstration data
The four sample projects (Sunrise over Keizer Streets, Construction Progress Mapping, DroneCare Service Bay, Drone Photography Portfolio) are synthetic: images and the fly-over clip are rendered illustrations with a visible watermark, and flight records are practice data. They are marked “Synthetic demo” everywhere, including exports.

Drone, construction site, terrain, streets and room geometry are modelled in code for this app. The CTEC Professional Skills Rubric is the program's rubric (from Hamptonian HireLearning). The Presentense mark is temporary pending approval.
